About
I am the “IT Manager” (cough IT guy cough) for Joe Media Group by day, a geek and a husband by night. My current role grants me a great deal of freedom to try out various different solutions both as a learning exercise and as a way to improve how things run. I’ve used the pseudonym Chealion online since 1998 and have subsequently owned and posted content on chealion.ca off and on since 2006. Blogging has always been an event that would start and stop for myself often because I would start to hate my current page design and be detracted by it.
I was compelled to break down the “eventually coming back” page and start sharing my thoughts again by my good friend Matt Simpson after spending a year away from University and having just started my dream job from high school instead of going back to finish my Computer Science degree at the University of Calgary.
You’ll find a wide variety of information posted on here ranging from things that interest me at work to things that interest me in my spare time. My primary audience is myself and those who may run into a problem I just encountered and avoided/solved.
You can get contact me by emailing me chealion AT chealion DOT ca
I live in Calgary, Canada.
